Hyde - Angel’s Tale

This is about as close as my musical tastes get to being mainstream, and one of the prettiest songs I know.

Nothing special about the video itself. You don’t really need to watch while you listen, unless you’re one of those fangirls who can’t stop looking at Hyde. (Plenty of those around!)

This one is also excellent. If it looks like he’s lip-syncing, that’s because the English version has been dubbed over by a fan. As you can hear, Hyde’s English is about as intelligible as his Japanese.

Most solo artists are overrated most of the time (there are good reasons for this fact) and Hyde is no exception. I haven’t liked everything he’s done since he went solo, but that one album Roentgen…beautiful.
